Maraheim City

A dense city that is kind of the central point of Maraheim County. Maraheim City lies on the west coast, bordering to The Great Sea that lies east of the continent. The city has everything you can expect of a city of this size (Central Hospital, Commercial Districts, Suburban districts and more). The city is broken up into two parts by Medea River. On the north side of the river is what is known as Maraheim City. South of the river lies, what is now more known as Old Town Maraheim. Old Town Maraheim is where the town of Maraheim was originally settled, before expanding to the north side of the river.

Morgana Lake

Morgana Lake is a large lake on the eastern part of Maraheim City (the most eastern part of the lake is actually outside of the city borders). Morgana Lake is connected to The Great Sea by Medea River that flows between the two. Maraheim City is still north of Morgana Lake, as it is Medea River, as Old Town Maraheim lies to the south of them both.

The Old Parish

On the most eastern bank of Morgana Lake, outside of Maraheim City, lies The Old Parish, which is the first village to ever be settled here, excluding the natives that used to live on these lands. At first The Parish (now know as The Old Parish) traded goods with the natives before the natives were forcefully chased away from the lands, or worse. Old Talbot's Church is still the center piece of this village.

On the entire northern coast of Morgana Lake lies Gaiman Park, which is the grand park of Maraheim. It's a beautiful central park-styled park, which really shows the beauty of the otherwise loomy city of Maraheim.

The Osman Observatory

To the north of Maraheim City we'll find Maraheim Central Train Station (also known as just 'Maraheim Station'), Seaside Amusement Park, Mareville Shopping Mall and Maraheim Shopping Centre.

Further north lies the mountain, on which Osman Observatory can be found, which is a combined observatory and research center focusing on extraterrestial research and astronomy. Rumors has it that they even research the possibilities of the existance of other dimensions and realms. Adam Osman, the founder of Osman Observatory & Research Center (which is it's full name, but often just called 'Osman Observatory' or 'The Observatory') has been missing since the 90's. Here's some information taken straight from our Instagram account on the subject: "He disappeared without a trace in the 90s, and there are rumors that he was either abducted by aliens or that he found an interdimensional rift during his research that he entered and never returned from. Some say he went mad because of his research and what he found, leading him to end his own life by jumping off a cliff by the sea. Whatever the truth may be, his disappearance remains a mystery that haunts Maraheim."

While Osman Observatory lies on the most western part of the mountain, with full view out to The Great Sea, Hayaosama Mansion lies further to the east, in the middle of the southern part of the mountain. It lies halfway to the top of the mountain, surrounded by the forest that covers this part of the mountain, and continues down to the south/east part of Maraheim County and connects to The Shy Woods (that covers the entire eastern part of Maraheim County, just outside of Maraheim City and Old Town Maraheim. The Shy Woods also surrounds The Old Parish).

The main road

Shibata Road
Shibata Road

Shibata Road is the road that connects Maraheim City (and County) to the rest of the (yet unknown) nation. Shibata Road goes straight from the Harbor of Maraheim, through the entire City (past the graveyard on the north side of the road, and then continues further, passing Gaiman Park that lies to the south of the road). The road continues out of the city and through The Shy Woods, passing a solitary Gas Station on the way. Right before the Gas Station (if you come from the outside, heading towards Maraheim City) lies an obscure road, kind of off-road, that leads north to the old Maraheim Sanatory, that has been abandoned for a long time. Another road, at pretty much the same location but leading to the south, leads directly to The Old Parish.

Woodland Pariah

South/southeast of The Old Parish lies 'Beldam Glade', which is a glade in The Shy Woods, where witches used to be put to trials and burned at the stakes, a tradition that has long since been abandoned.

Southwest/west of Beldam Glade (and directly south of both The Old Parish and the southeastern part of Morgana Lake) lies Woodland Pariah. This is what's known about the location: "Hey there, visitors! Have you heard about Woodland Pariah? It's a secluded place southeast/east from Old Town Maraheim, founded by a group of people who rejected society's ways of living. They formed a new society, the Woodland Pariah, and have since kept to themselves.

Many people speak of strange events and happenings connected to the area, but no one outside of the Pariah has any idea of what's going on inside. There are rumors of occult cultist events and rituals taking place there, which only add to the mystery and intrigue surrounding the place.

Woodland Pariah may not be a popular tourist destination, but it's certainly caught the attention of those interested in horror, occultism, stories, folklore, and mysteries. If you're brave enough to explore the unknown, maybe this is the place for you. But beware, the inhabitants are not keen on visitors.
